ini sih teori ku sendiri, kalau film THE SCORPION KING sama THE MUMMY : RETURN itu nyambung.

kenapa ? karena kalau di perhatikan itu sama dan berkelanjutan. Di film THE SCORPION KING yang dibintangi THE ROCK itu si mathayus pada akhirnya menjadi Raja Kalajengking.

Di film THE MUMMY : RETURN, openingnya menceritakan sejarah scorpion king yang kalah dalam berperang dan membuat perjanjian kepada dewa kegelapan anubis, untuk membantunya memenangkan perang. Memang pada saat itu raja kalajengking dan pasukan anubisnya menang, tapi dewa anubis berkhianat. Dia mengambil jiwa scorpion king untuk mengabdi kepadanya selamanya dan wujudnya berubah menjadi monster kalajengking berkepala manusia. Nah kebetulan yang pemeran scorpion kingnya sama di antara dua film itu yaitu sama sama dwayne "the rock". Entah emang sengaja dibuat seperti itu atau enggak, itu persepsi dari kawan kawan penikmat film sekalian : )
